It works great as expected. I accidentally turned it on with my foot then found out that is the switch to turn it in.

Our dog thought our kitchen bin was a giant kong treat stuffed with delectable delights for their midnight snacks. Waking up to the last garbage raid spread over two rooms of the house was the last straw. Our panel ready compactor was the smartest addition to kitchen! Panel ready allowed us to have it seamlessly blend in with our cabinets, the typical power supply meant no specialty outlets, just basic plug, and best of all - we no long have a trash can - aka giant kong treat of wonders - tempting our 4 legged furbaby, thus saving us the wonders of discovering all that we have tossed, meticulously separated all over the floor. Plus, we live in top floor walk up condo, and our trips to the bin room have decreased!! Not only saving us trips to the bin room - but trips to the Vet Office!
