we purchased this unit to replace our 22 year old GE Spacesaver Microwave. It has lived up to our expectations. The features are amazing and the quietness of the unit is great. It is only 800 watts but seems to be more efficient than the 1000 watt unit it replaced. My only dislike is that the door makes an incredible amount of noise when you close it. There doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it.

The numbers and words on the control panel are not very bright and hard to read. They should be a brighter color or have illumination in the background.

I needed a microwave to fit a certain space and I had an older GE that I liked but was going bad. This one fit the bill but for 400.00 it is a disappointment! Seems much more cheaply built and everything is black so it is hard to see the controls. It runs quietly so I am pleased with that aspect of it.

My old microwave oven that we had for 8 years just quit working. It was too expensive to fix so we were happy that GE still made the undercabinet model identical to our old one.
